Quick setup

Add one script and start collecting.

Create an account, register your domain, and add the tracking script to your pages.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Register with an email and password, then verify the address. No billing profile is created.

  2. 02

    Add your site

Name the site and list the domains allowed to submit browser events.

  3. 03

    Paste the snippet

Add one deferred script to your pages. Counter confirms when the first event arrives.

Clear reports

See what people visit and how they arrive.

A

Live activity

Watch arrivals, active pages, and recent sessions without waiting for a daily batch.

B

Pages and sources

Find the content people enter through, what they read, and which referrers bring them.

C

Location and devices

Compare broad locations, browsers, operating systems, and device types.

D

Goals and events

Define goals for sign-ups, purchases, or any other event, then see which visits completed them.

E

Network view

Compare several properties from one account and see where their audiences are active in the same places. Visitor identities stay separate per site — never linked across them.

F

Controlled sharing

Create revocable report links when someone needs results without access to your account.

A smaller data footprint

Analytics should not require following a person around the web.

Cookieless by default

The default browser collector uses no visitor cookie. A site may optionally enable a consent-based first-party identifier for returning-visitor reporting; it never creates an advertising identity.

Addresses are transformed on arrival

Visitor identifiers are derived with a rotating keyed hash; raw visitor IP addresses are not stored in the analytics event stream.

Privacy signals respected

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honored by default for new sites.

Your account stays separated

Sites, reports, keys, quotas, and lifecycle jobs are bound to the owning account, with tenant checks at each access boundary.

Does Counter use visitor cookies?

Not by default. Sites can opt into a first-party identifier only after visitor consent when they need returning-visitor reporting.

Do I need a credit card?

No. There are no payments and Counter does not ask for card details.

Can I remove my account?

Yes. Account deletion includes a recovery window, followed by a phased purge of account-owned analytics and credentials.

Can I use Counter on several domains?

Yes. One account can manage up to three sites, and each site can list the domains allowed to send its events.
